If you are breakout prone, you may want to find a product that contains Salicylic Acid or if you want to target hyperpigmentation, Tranexamic Acid may be helpful for you! In most cases, yes! However some skincare products contain active ingredients that, if layered together, can cause irritation on the skin. Ideally you want to avoid layering exfoliating, retinol based or vitamin c skincare products with each other as these can lead to irritation if used at the same time.
