I have struggled with spots for a very long time. This is the first cleanser I’ve had that gives me clean skin without drying my skin out. My skin is very sensitive and I can use this am and pm to help control spots. I’m at the point now where I no longer feel the need to wear foundation. Started heavily breaking out after using this product for 7 years with no issues. Couldn’t figure out what it was until I stopped using the product. I’m now left with many scars from spots caused by this product.
When comparing the ingredients list from 2019 to the current day, they have added a lot of new different ingredients. I can’t find any evidence of this change being announced online, which feels poor.

We completely understand how distressing and frustrating that must be, especially after such a long and positive relationship with this product.
We want to reassure you that to our knowledge the Salicylic Acid Cleanser formula has not changed, but we completely understand why you feel that way and we would never want to dismiss your concern. The best thing we can do is make sure we look into this properly with you - please do reach out to our Customer Experience Team (help@theinkeylist.com) directly and share what you were seeing on the ingredients list in 2019 so we can cross reference and clarify this for you fully.
In the meantime, we'd strongly recommend stopping use and allowing your skin to settle. If the scarring and breakouts are persisting, we'd also encourage you to seek advice from a pharmacist or dermatologist. We really do want to get to the bottom of this for you - please do get in touch. 💙
