HAIR & SCALP CONCERNS

Dry hair is the result of there being a lack of moisture or moisture retention in the hair shaft. This can cause hair to appear dull, lack sheen,  experience frizz and more prone to breakage.

Damaged hair can look brittle, fragile, and frizzy. It's prone to breakage, having split ends and overall can have an unruly appearance. Over use of bleaching, color dying and heat styling tools are the largest contributors in causing hair bonds to break and hair to become damaged

Scalp build up can be caused by residue from haircare and scalp care products, sebum, dead skin cells and sweat. As a result, excessive buildup can cause scalp inflammation and this can disrupt the healthy function of the hair follicles by clogging them up.

Exfoliating the scalp will help to dissolve and lift the buildup, allowing roots to become unclogged, thus encouraging normal hair growth and hair to lift up, leaving hair looking healthy.`

Lack of volume results in your hair looking flat and lifeless. This can be caused by different factors from excess oil resulting in greasy hair, build-up at the root from product use or simply down to your genetics.  Thicker looking hair can be achieved  both if you have really fine, thin hair or if you have noticed hair loss and want to make  hair look thicker. An oily scalp can result in greasy hair. Certain people have naturally more oily scalps than other but external factors can play a role in the glands over-producing sebum resulting in greasier hair.
