Let me start by saying, the shine and instant hydration are def on point. All 3 of the colored glosses are incredibly gritty, though. Not sure what this is inside of the glosses (pics attached), but it is incredibly off-putting. It feels like a million crumbs stuck to your lips, and it really ruined the product for me.
The clear gloss tho? Heavenly. Nice and thick without being goopy.

If you feel that this lip balm is not as hydrating as first (as I did) exfoliate your lips and give it a few days. It does work! At first my lips kept sucking up all the product so fast and were left a bit dry after half anhour or so. This was because (as I found out after a week of use) my lips were really dehydrated and hyaluronic acid does need a lot of water as a hydrophilic substance! After I exfoliated and kept using it 3 times a day for a week my lips are something else! So instead of doing injections with HA this works the same. I have done injections in the past and the doctors say the same thing, keep hydrating as HA is hydrophilic and sucks up water. I don't think I will ever stop using this, glad I bought the whole set! The pigment is great too, one shade for each occasion! I am a fan to the tingly ones too though! The ones with chilly or menthol so INKEY do consider producing a line for these too!
