Madecassoside Mask | The INKEY List

• Can be used in your AM or PM skincare routine.
• After cleansing, gently apply a grape-sized amount of Madecassoside Mask and pat into the face and neck.
• Leave on for 10-15 minutes and wash off for instant relief or leave on as a treatment for ongoing maintenance of the skin barrier.
• Follow with preferred treatments and moisturizer.
• Use 1 – 2 times a week.

How to recycle your INKEY List products.

CAN I USE MADECASSOSIDE MASK EVERY DAY? We’d recommend using this product once or twice a week as opposed to every day.

WHEN IN MY ROUTINE SHOULD I APPLY THIS FACE MASK? You can apply it anytime of day, 1-2 times per week. After cleansing your skin, apply the mask, wait 10 minutes before washing off. After this continue with your usual routine.

CAN I LEAVE IT ON OVERNIGHT? Yes, you can! It's one of our INKEY Tips to wake up with fresh skin in the morning.

CAN I LAYER IT WITH OTHER INGREDIENTS? Yes! You can safely use it with all other ingredients both AM and PM. What products should I not layer together? >

WHO IS THIS BEST FOR? For those that have damaged skin barriers or those with skin that has been sensitive by over exfoliation or strong actives use such as Retinol. Learn more about the skin barrier >

IS THIS SUITABLE FOR SENSITIVE SKIN? Yes! this product is suitable for all skin types and works especially well on sensitive skin or skin that has become sensitised due to the usage of strong actives.

WHY IS MY PRODUCT A DIFFERENT SHADE OF BLUE THAT IN THE PHOTOS? This is due to the spirulina used! Depending on the time of harvest the shade of blue can vary.

WHAT IS MADECASSOSIDE? It is a component found within Centella Asiatica which helps to reduce inflammation, reduce redness and itching. 

WILL MENTHOL IRRITATE MY SKIN? We have included Menthol Lactate which is a blend of menthol and lactic acid and is less sensitising from standard menthol. It has a long track record of efficacy and safety and it is used to cool the skin. The percentage of the menthol lactate in the mask is very low at 0.035% so it should not cause any irritation but we always recommend patch testing

WILL THIS MAKE MY SKIN BLUE? No, just ensure that it is washed off and that you are careful around fabrics when using the mask as it could stain. 

WHAT IS THE PH LEVEL OF THIS PRODUCT? PH level : 5.3.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO SEE RESULTS? Results are instant! The skin will feel refreshed, calm and soft - itching and irritation will be minimised. Products can take up to six weeks to show full results, due to the time it takes for your skin cells to turnover and the results of any products to reach the surface. Consistency is key, so apply regularly even if you’re not seeing the effects straight away. It can be very tempting to increase use of some products to try and see quicker results, don't overdo it though. More is not necessarily more, and overuse can cause irritation and sensitivity.
