Our Polyglutamic Acid Serum is a powerful hydrator for the skin's surface, locking in moisture and helping the skin appear instantly smoother. In fact, it can hold 4x more moisture than Hyaluronic Acid—so it’s a must for dry skin, especially in the winter. Here’s how we’re making the most of this hydrating hero.
WHEN SHOULD I USE POLYGLUTAMIC ACID SERUM?
Applying the Polyglutamic Acid Serum should sit after cleansing and before moisturizer. If you are using multiple serums, consider the order from thinnest to thickest, which would usually make Polyglutamic Acid Serum work as the last serum before moisturizer.HOW DO I APPLY IT?
Apply a pea-sized amount of Polyglutamic Acid Serum on the face, and don’t forget your neck area too! Gently massage thoroughly into skin. As noted above, finish with your preferred moisturizer of choice.
ANY TIPS TO MAXIMIZE BENEFITS?
Definitely. In fact, if you are looking to achieve the dewy glass skin look–consider this serum your best friend! To get the look, mix a pea-sized drop of the serum with your foundation to create a glowing finish. If you don’t use foundation, this serum’s formula also works really well as a primer base for makeup too because of its ultra-smooth, non-greasy texture. For an extra boost of hydration, we recommend using our best-selling Hyaluronic Acid Serum first and then applying the Polyglutamic Acid Serum secondary to lock in hydration.WHAT CAN I LAYER THIS WITH?
Any of our skincare products! We dive further in depth on layering in our blog post here.WHEN CAN I EXPECT TO SEE RESULTS?
For instant gratification, skin will feel instantly hydrated and plumped after application. However, for prolonged results, products usually take up to six weeks to show full results, because of the time it takes for your skin cells to turnover and the results of any products to reach the surface. Consistency is key, so apply regularly even if you’re not seeing the effects straight away. It can be very tempting to increase use of some products to try and see quicker results, but don't overdo it! More is not necessarily more, and overuse can cause irritation and sensitivity.
