Complete Retinol Regime

Using Retinol in your PM skincare routine helps to kick start your skin renewal process whilst boosting overall skin clarity and uneven skin tone for a brighter, more even complexion.

As we age, our natural collagen production starts to diminish which can lead to fine lines and wrinkles. Retinol works beneath the skin surface to promote renewal and repair processes so that newer cells reach the surface quicker, making skin appear more youthful.

Both products in our Complete Retinol Regime Kit contain slow release Vitamin A derivatives that helps to avoid irritation, making them a perfect match for those new to using Retinol or who have more sensitive skin.

Each Complete Retinol Regime Kits contains a full size;
Retinol (30ml) & Retinol Eye Cream (15ml)

  • Only use Retinol in your PM routine

    As Retinol speeds up skin renewal, newer skin reaches the surface quicker. This can increase the skin's sensitivity to the sun. That's why we recommended only using Retinol in the PM and always using a broad spectrum sunscreen during the day.

    How often to use Retinol

    If you are new to Retinol, start off using it 1-2 times per week and increase gradually if your skin can tolerate more frequent use. We suggest introducing new products slowly so that you can easily identify any source of irritation.

    Layering moisturizers after Retinol

    We recommend using a moisturizer after layering Retinol into your skincare routine. This is due the fact Retinol can have drying effects on our skin. If you’re only just starting out and your skin is on a sensitive side, you could apply Retinol on top of moisturizer to minimise the risk of dehydration.

    When to start using Retinol

    We recommend starting at age 25, or when the first signs of aging begin to show.

    Products you should avoid using with Retinol;

    • AHAs : It is not recommended to use Retinol and Alpha Hydroxy Acids at the same time as this can lead over exfoliation and sensitised skin so alternerate and use on different nights.
    • Vitamin C : Avoid mixing Vitamin C & Retinol products at the same time. We suggest using Vitamin C in your AM routine and Retinol in your PM routine.

    Seeing results from using Retinol

    Retinol can take up to six weeks to start showing results. This is due to the time it takes for your skin cells to be replaced. Consistency is key, so continue with you routine even if you’re not seeing the effects straight away. It can be very tempting to increase use of some products to try and see quicker results, don't overdo it though. More is not always better change for future. Overuse can cause irritation and sensitivity.
